STARTUP 2023 - Här är finalisterna i Nord!

Årets STARTUP- tävling är avslutad och nu står det klart vilka tio bidrag som blir finalister i årets regionfinal i region Nord. Tech, hållbarhet och AI dominerar bland de nominerade bidragen som inom kort ska pitcha sina affärsidéer för den regionala juryn som ska avgöra vilka finalister som vinner priser och blir direktkvalicerade till höstens Sverigefinal.

De tio finalisterna kommer nu att genomgå en sista jurybedömning inför regionfinalen den 23 maj där vinnarna koras i följande kategorier: Impact Maker, Beyond Academic, Best Traction och Game Changer.

"Vi har fått en hel del spännande och innovativa tävlingsbidrag i region nord och efter en noggrann urvalsprocess har vi äntligen utsett våra 10 finalister. Detta kommer vi såklart att fira och det ser jag mycket fram emot att få göra på regionfinalen som kommer äga rum i Luleå." säger Therese Olsson, VD för Venture Cup.

Regionfinalen i Luleå går av stapeln den 23 maj på T22. Det väntas mat, dryck, förstklassigt mingel, ett inspirerande scenprogram modererat av Angelica Vang, samt en spännande prisutdelning. Audiotri

We, members of the team, with a total of more than three decays experience of working with microphones, noticed that one with good quality in an affordable price range does not exist. We identified this as a gap in the market and believe a superior quality microphone can be designed and sold with a reasonable price. We decided to start a company to address this issue

Batonics

Batonics are automating the financial investment processes with machine learning and AI in engines that pick up anomalies and
trends in big data sets. Instead of the user gathering, formatting and analysing financial market data from hundreds of different data providers, Batonics does it for you. With our simple interface just search the area you want to analyse, choose your variables of interest and let the program do the rest. We are challenging the multi-strategy investment microcosm by providing tools for better
investments across all sectors.

Geografisk intelligens

Geographic intelligence is a powerful combination of geographic data and artificial intelligence that can be used to solve that problem through the development of new maps. Unfortunately, this technique requires specialist expertise in two different disciplines, making the threshold for application high. Geoint is a service that lowers that threshold. The service is based on a digital twin of Sweden on a 1:1 scale where each pixel in the map corresponds to one square meter in reality.

We noticed how more parking apps were established, all with focus on paid parking. We developed the Parking Time app, the parking app for parking discs. Parking Time simplified parking for residents, tourists and parking attendants and enables cost savings and statistics for the municipalities.
