Venture Cup Regionfinal 2024, Region Väst

Den 7 maj var det Regionfinal i Region Väst i STARTUP 2024! Denna gång höll vi till i Göteborg och specifikt hos Brewhouse Inkubator/Surr Arena. Fyra vinnare korades under eventet som delade på priserna Game Changer, Beyond Academic, Best Traction och Impact Maker. Dessutom delades extra priser ut i form av Innovatum Science Park Award, JCE Accelerator Award och Publikens pris, ett pris som publiken fick rösta om i realtid.

De startups som vann var inga mindre än BEATLAB, Mareld, DREV och Anferra. Dessa 4 bolag vann 10 000 kronor var och en kvalificering till Sverigefinalen som går av stapeln senare i höst, där de ställs mot övriga regioners vinnare. Vinnaren av extra priserna Innovatum Science Park Award och JCE Accelerator Award gick till Mareld. Publikens pris gick till KORALL.

Game Changer - Vinnare: BEATLAB

Juryns motivering:
"A groundbreaking idea that enables longer and healthier lives for over half a billion people globally. The company demonstrates an innovative ability to early detect the world's most common health problems and thereby implement preventive measures early on. The team showcases credibility through its expertise and shows good potential for success in the global market."

Beyond Academic - Vinnare: Mareld

"The idea has grown from the need to monitor a growing problem as quickly as possible. The team has established several collaborations across the value chain within their field. By viewing a series of images they ensure safety and reduced waste."

Best Traction - Vinnare: DREV

"A team with strong competence that has a clear plan to create products based on the real needs of the customer. With limited resources, they have entered the market, and the company currently has ongoing work with clients where they are creating sustainable work environments with new tools that outshine competitors."

Impact Maker - Vinnare: Anferra

Innovatum Science Park Award - Vinnare: Mareld
