SpeakSum: Winner of Beyond Academic in region south 2022

SpeakSum is a web app that measures spoken time of meeting participants and gives a graphical visualization of a meeting. This provides unique insights such as activity over time, giving objective data to analyze and improve meeting quality and ultimately support inclusion and equal representation. At Venture Cup's regional final in region south, SpeakSum won Beyond Academic, 50 000 SEK and also a spot in the National Final in October.

Research shows that those who speak more are often perceived as leaders. And we can all recognize ourselves in the difficulty of making our voices heard during a meeting, not least during digital meetings. But if an organization does not actively seek to capture everyone's perspective, it is wasting intellectual capacity, time and money. In addition, there are poorer conditions for diversity and equality in the organization. This, SpeakSum has a solution for.

- "We have created a user-friendly and functional solution to a universal problem and have the motivation and competence to further develop and commercialize the idea. Once implemented, our idea can contribute to increased equality and inclusion globally, in line with sustainability goals 4 and 5." Says the team. 

SpeakSum was born at an after work when the team was jointly frustrated that the boss took 90% of the time at the team meeting and completely lacked insight. Discussions during the evening led to the realization that the recognition factor was high among many others as well. SunFeeds came into the world and wants to change the fact that there are no user-friendly established tools for measuring and analyzing talk time ans other parameters in digital meetings. 

- "Q1 our product will be launched. Q4 2023, we'll have 100 corporate customers." The team predicts. 

At Venture Cup's regional final in the south region, SpeakSum won Beyond Academic and 50 000 SEK, which means that they directly qualifies to the National Final in October.
